So last night my sister tried to replace a lightbulb with an incompatible one thus resulting in a fuse failure. I flipped the guilty fuse back up and everything works fine except my pc which wont even turn on (like nothing whatsoever).
What is the likelyhood of the mobo being damaged rather than the psu only?
Specs are an Asrock z170 pro4s mobo and a corsair rm850 watt psu.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Solution
You can test PSU with paperclip test.

Unplug 24pin harness from harness. Take a paperclip and jumper from green wire (pin 16) to any of the black ground wires on the 24pin cable. If psu does not start up then the PSU is bad.

No i only had it plugged into an extension cord with multiple sockets. Monitor was plugged into it too but was fine. Will know for next time then. So do you reckon the psu is done for then?

you'd have to try another PSU, but since it's a pretty good quality one, hopefully it's only the PSU that died. Would be wise to pickup a surge protector power strip as well, the decent ones can also diagnose if your socket has faulty wiring, and they only cost maybe $30-40.
