PC won't turn on, I hear a click inside but nothing else

Yesterday I was browsing the web then my PC fans when full blast and nothing was on the display, I freaked out and turned it off. Now when I try and turn it back on it makes a click noise but won't boot. The motherboard lights are always on but nothing else. I've tried unplugging every cable and plugging it back in but no luck. I doubt it it's the power supply because it's relatively new from EVGA. This PC is only a week old and has been fine until now. Anyone know what I can do??

CPU - Core i7 7700k
Cooler - Corsair H100i v2
GPU - EVGA GTX 1070 FTW
Ram - Corsair Vengeance LED 3000
Motherboard - Asus Prime z270-a
PSU - EVGA Supernova 550w G3
SSD - Samsung 850 evo 250Gb

if it is continuouly beeping then maybe it's a Ram issue. Try changing when the Ram is placed. If that works then your motherboard Ram slot if fried. If not try a second Ram stick.

Even new psu's from the best sries can be a bead example. If you can try another one,maybe from a friend or local store. Otherwise should you imo possibly look at that either the motherboard or cpu has gone bad.
The cpu cooler is well seated?
