PC Won't turn on

Hi guys, how are you doing?

Some months ago, I bought a new custom build (Asrock H87-D3H). I tried to make it work with an old PSU, which has only one 4pin connector. It turned one for a minute, then reboot. So, I bought a new PSU. In the process, some pins got bent, so I tried fixing the bent pins but it was useless, except once, that it turned on and tried to "recover corrupted bios", and then it won't turn on again. When I press the power button, the CPU and PSU fans spin about 5 milliseconds and stop.

I thought it might be the socket, so I decided to buy a new board (Asus H87M-E) but I still got the same results. So, MB is discarded. Is it possible that the CPU Fan is burned or making short-circuit?

One interesting point, is that yesterday, after months, I decided to wire everything up again, and it turned on! It recognized successfully everything (CPU and RAM). I loaded default BIOS settings, but when I shutdown, it won't turn on again.

Another thing to mention, is that the CPU might lack some thermal paste, but would it make a difference?

So, I think it might be the CPU Fan or the PSU. This weekend I will try my setup on a friend's PSU. But would come up with some idea to fix this?

Here is a video of what's happening. I currently have the setup in a wooden table (to discard the possibility of a screw screwing it up haha :) ).

If you need any other information or want to ask something, feel free to do it :).

Thanks a lot for your time and help,

Greetings!

PS: I have tried clearing the CMOS-Setup with jumpers and removing battery. I have not tried removing battery 48hs (I have read somewhere this period of time. Maybe that's why my build turned on after so long time?)

Motherboard: H87M-E
CPU: Intel I5 4430k
RAM: 16 GB 1600 mhz (I have two sticks)
PSU: Thermaltake TR2 500W
HDD: Seagate 1TB
SSD: Kingston 120GB SSDNOW

I think I have checked everything in the checklist. May the lack of thermal paste do something like this?

I don't think the cpu is a 'k' type.

Your power supply is on Tier 5 of - http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1804779/power-supply-unit-tier-list.html - Tier five - Replace immediately
So that could be a problem.

You do need thermal paste between the cpu and cpu cooler. What cooler is it? Stock Intel?

If you've gone through the checklist and it doesn't even POST, then you'll have to start swapping out bits. I'd start with the power supply.

What pins got bent?

What case have you got?

First, thanks for your help until now!

You are right, it's not a 'K' type.

I will try this weekend with my friend's PSU. Thanks for the tip, I didn't know that, and I spent quite a money with this PSU -.-

Yes, the fan is Stock Intel. And there might be no thermal paste now, as I have removed it a few times.

There are currently no pins bent with this new MB.

I have a Thermaltake Versa 2 but I have currently had the setup unmounted from the case.

Greetings!

It was the PSU at the end. I ended up buying a Seasonic 620W and the PC turned on with no problems until now. Thanks for you help, I had no idea about how bad could be a Thermaltake PSU, being it a "good company"?.

Anways, thanks for your time and help. :)
