Hello, I got a new case, psu and a cpu cooler. I installed them yesterday and plugged it all in but when I turn on my pc it goes off after a Second. I see my fans rotate and I see the light on the power button on my new case. I unplugged every cable except the 24 pin and the power sw and it still does the same thing.
I have the evga supernova 850 g2,kraken x61 and the Asus h87-plus.

i see, just to be clear you can't post without a ram.

when a pc won't post, that means 1 of 3 things, ram gone bad or the mobo or the psu.

buying a new component does not make it perfect,RMA the psu just to be sure it was not the problem.

I think we will need more information. You followed the instructions in the booklet you got for your motherboard right?

I say this because if you do not plug in the front panel connections correctly. It may not turn on.It will just sit there.Another thing is.You have to make sure your ram stick is in the correct Socket. An all the way in.

The other thing to look for is that the fan for cooling is plugged into the correct plug that says CPU Fan.If it is plugged anywhere else wont run correctlly. If at all.

I have 2 cables with from the cpu cooler for the fan and one from the case (enthoo pro) the cable said it should go in the cpu_fan. I put the cable from my cpu cooler I put in the cha_fan2. Did I do that right?

Yeah what is the name an brand of the board? The board you are using may have 2 input ports for the CPU.So we could be making a mistake an lets not do anything to endanger the processor.

OK sounds like the ram may still need to be put in the correct slot. But lets go over this. The PSU turns on.It gets power.

Your motherboard is
Your Graphics card is
Your TV is
Your Plug to the wall is

An i mean what the PSU is connected to.
