THE PROBLEM
After building my computer, I installed windows 7 only to upgrade to windows 10 right away. I installed all my drivers, and some programs like spotify, and skype. I then shut down the computer, and unplugged everything. Moving it upstairs to my room, I made sure not to bump the computer around. When I plugged everything in, it wouldn't turn on.

WHAT I'VE TRIED
I tried switching outlets, checking the outlet, moving it back to where I built it, but it still would not turn on. I made sure there were no loose cable connections. Then I changed the ac adapter for my power supply. I also unplugged everything, excluding the cpu, and cpu fan, from the motherboard then replugged everything in. I checked to see if the power button was jammed, but it wasn't. I made sure the switch on the psu was turned on, and that the cord was plugged all the way in.

At this point, I'm willing to do anything, thanks in advance.

Solution
Something stupid to check. Check that the switch on the back of the PSU is set to 120V and not 240V.

Make sure the switch on the case is good. Try booting the motherboard manually by shorting out the pins with a paperclip instead of using the case switch.

You might have to reset the breaker on that outlet. IK you said that you checked the outlet but not sure what you meant by that.
