PC works perfectly without GPU but when inserted nothing shows up

When i don't have the GPU (which is the Asus strix gtx 750 OC) the computer works perfectly but when i put in the Graphics nothing shows up on screen.

The specs are:
CPU: Intel Pentium g4560 @3.5ghz
GPU: Asus STRIX gtx 750TI OC
MOBO: ASRock h110m-HDS r3.0
RAM: Kingston ValueRam 8gb DDR4 2133

any help would be appreciated

When card installed, are you connecting the monitor to it (not motherboard)? If not, try to.

yeah
but nothing happened so I went down to the computer shops and they pulled it out and back in again and pushed it in harder than I did.
so I pretty much didn't have the graphics card even in properly
