[SOLVED] PCI 3.0 and PCI 4.0 with an RTX 3070 Founders Edition

So I was lucky enough to get an RTX 3070 FE which utilizes pci 4.0. My current motherboard utilizes 3.0. Would an upgrade in a 4.0 pci capable motherboard get more performance from this GPU?

No. It makes no difference.

Current GPUs can barely reach the full potential of 3.0 x16. You won't see any difference with 4.0 x16.
