[SOLVED] PCI Express 3.0Video cards

Will a PCI Express Video card 3.0 work in MSI 970A-G46 motherboard. Shows PCI Express 2.0 but not sure if can work with newer cards

Yes 3.0 cards are backward compatible.

It doesn’t support pcie 3.0 but graphics cards are backwards compatible Down to 1.0 so there is no problem there
