Last year i bought a MSI 970a-g43 plus motherboard: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/970A-G43-PLUS/Specification and a Palit Geforce GTX 770 OC gpu: http://www.palit.com/palit/vgapro.php?id=2210&lang=en&pn=NE5X770S1042-1045F&tab=sp . For over a year the gpu worked fine on a pci express x4 slot but today i tried to move the card to the pci express x16 slot (the nearest from the cpu) because the pcie x4 slot is too close to the case and the gpu doesn't have enough space to breathe.I moved the card to the pcie x16 slot but all i could see was a black screen and in the right down corner of the screen a code"D7".The card is new and i don't have any problems with it.I am currently using a vga monitor with an adaptor from dvi to vga.Is the motherboard broken? Is the vga port a problem? What could cause the problem?

Solution
Since you don't have a post, I would clear the bios, remove the motherboard and all connections and try out of the case.
Clearing the bios might work by itself.

Dude i think you just found the issue! See? The Nvidia Gt 230 has a vga output and i tested it on the pci express x16 slot with vga-vga cable(no adapter ).The Palit Geforce GTX 770 OC doesn't have a vga output and i have an old vga monitor so i am using a dvi to vga adapter.Maybe this is the problem. Tomorrow my new monitor arrives(display port) so i think that can solve the problem. What do you think about this?
