Is wifi adapter on a PCI slot (non express) still gives a decent amount of wifi connection speeds? I am looking for atleast 5 megabytes per second transfer speed.

Wifi cards that use the pcie slot are much faster than USB Wifi, and can get higher speeds. However, in the end, it really all depends on how good your wifi is. If you have terrible internet, then the pcie wifi card won't really help. How about the PCI only Wifi Card? Can it provide atleast 5mbps or I'll just switch to a USB Wifi?

By the way, the purpose of this wireless card is for connecting my PC to other devices such as tablets and smartphones so I can use one of those as my wifi hotspot.
