hi guys!
please help my !!
i have a hp compaq 8000 elite sff (smal form factor).
and i just bought a gtx 650 that doesn't require 6pin or 8pin power cable (less than 70w)
but the problem is that card is not low profile so it doesn't fit in my hp case!
and im planing to buy an PCIE 1X to16X Extender Riser Card Adapter with USB 3.0 Cable!

https://www.amazon.co.uk/to16x-Extender-Riser-Adapter-Power/dp/B01MQJAQ14

but i dont know if it will work in my hp ! because this PCIE 1X to16X Extender Riser Card Adapter with USB 3.0 Cable ships with an 6 pin Power Cable, and my stock hp psu (240w) doesn't have any 6pin or 8pin power cable and i dont know if the extender will power the gpu (gtx 650) with just usb3.0 that connect to pcie x1 or not (hp compaq 8000 elite sff have 2 pcie x1 and 1 pciex16.
or that 6pin power connect that come with the extender only needed with power gpus (more than 70w) maybe??
please guys help

Solution
"behind" your PC? Like how?

That one isn't long enough i don't think, to like bend under your PC and mount out back, you'd need like... a 2 foot long extender for that.

You should probably just get rid of your 550 (which is old and pretty bad by todays standards) and just get a low profile GPU:

Ahh i didn't know about that 16x extender!! but i got no way to mount the gpu because that 16x extender only flex in one way and hp sff cases are very small. but what about the PCIE 1X to16X Extender Riser Card Adapter with USB 3.0 Cable! Will it work with my asus gtx 650 Or its required a high end psu with power cables?

uhh, the 16x extender can flex both ways, and there's nothing for you to mount any gpu to with you current setup, which is also a big problem probably. You'll have to rig up some kind to keep GPU stable.

The 1x to 16x is only meant for like cryptocurrency(bitcoin) mining rigs because those don't really need all the PCIE lanes to fully use the GPU.
If you try to use a 1x to 16x extender for gaming, you're going to have a bad time.
