Can you guys help me , i want to buy a new graphics card for my computer
i have PCIe 3.0 but the graphics card needs PCIE 3.0 x16
Will it work or no?

Solution
Pci-e 3.0 is the version. Pci-e 3.0 x16 is the version and slot speed. If your motherboard has a 16x port its likely compatible just make sure your psu is up to the task.

PCI-E only comes in x1, x4, x8, and x16 slot lengths; x16 being the longest. The 1.0, 1.1, 2.0, and 3.0 are just the generational annotations. More than likely, if you have a PCI-E 3.0 slot on the motherboard, then it will probably be a x16 length. Most motherboards will have some type of arrangement/combination of x1 and x16 PCI-E 3.0 slots. You might even have an older PCI slot on the board and it will be offset and backward compared to the PCI-E slots.
