PCIe 3.0x16 @ x1 1.1

i have been having issues with my GPU since i bought it. HIS hd7970 ref. i have a couple screenshots and i was wondering if this was supposed to read like this or not.

i would assume it should be at least @ 2.0 x16.

am i right or am i just seeing things?

I checked 3d mark too, turned out I was looking at the tahiti 2 gpu's which are clocked at 1ghz or higher.

his is stock reference tahiti 1 @925mhz and 5500mhz

well i dont know. i am confused because i can not play League of legends without experiencing fps drops well into the 30's sometimes lower. thanks for all the help guys

what are the temps of the gpu and cpu while gaming?

I can't think of anything.
you should be able to max that game out on a 6670,a 7970 should play it without breaking a sweat.
aside from a defective component I'm out of ideas.
the power supply is decent,not great but not bad.
the cpu is great.
the ram is good,1600mhz is ideal,but the change isn't that large.

EDIT:try disabling hyperthreading in bios,it can lower your fps in some games.

well after installing the 12.8 drivers and reinstalling my chipset drivers, i got it to say its @ x8 2.0 and i reran the benchmark and got these.

i had exactly the same problem and I fixed it by reseating the card on the slot and making sure it seats deep.
