I own a 2070 Super which requires an 8pin and a 6pin power connectors.
The 8pin connection is fine meaning that the plastic lock above the connector locks the cable into place with no issues, but the 6pin doesn't lock, it's connected there basically loose and i'm not sure if it can create problems. It's plastic lock is rised even when the cable is fully inside the connector, so you don't even need to press it down to remove the cable.
Can it damage components if it comes loose without me noticing it beforehand?
It happens with both Corsair RM650x stock cables and extension cables from Deepcool.

Thanks.

Solution
My thought is....for some reason the plug might not be going in all the way.
I wouldn't force it too hard.
If it happens with the stock cables and the extension cables....I think the issue is with the card.....although I wouldn't use extension cables.
I would either try and get it to lock.....or I would somehow secure it so it couldn't come loose.
You don't want it coming loose when you are running.
This can cause problems.
