As mentioned in the title, can I use a Gen 3 NVME drive in a Gen 4 socket?
I'm building a very low budget gaming machine. I already have the Gen3x4 NVMe drive. The board is an Asrock B660M-HDV with both a Gen4x4 socket and a Gen3x4 socket, so I guess I could use the actual Gen3 socket. But I was just wondering if it would work putting the drive in the Gen 4 socket instead?
