I am looking to buy an ssd that plugs into the pcie port of the motherboard with a capacity of around 500gb with a close price of £80-£100 any recommendations?

If so you do not have a M.2 slot on your mobo and you will either have to buy a standard 2.5 Inch SATA SSD such as the Crucial MX500 or Samsung 860

But that would be a storage drive only; the Crosshair V cannot boot from an NVME drive without a modified bios. Asus has not put out one that supports this feature.
