I am looking to buy an ssd that plugs into the pcie port of the motherboard with a capacity of around 500gb with a close price of £80-£100 any recommendations?

You can buy a PCIe to M.2 Adapter such as this (there are others) https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-M-2-X16-V2-Threadripper/dp/B07NQBQB6Z/ and then you need to buy a PCIe3.0 Speed NVMe M.2 Drive such as the Crucial P1, Intel 660P, Samsung 970


But that would be a storage drive only; the Crosshair V cannot boot from an NVME drive without a modified bios. Asus has not put out one that supports this feature.
