Everyone told me that a PCIe x16 3.0 video card will work on 2.0. It will run at reduced speed, but will work because 3.0 is backwards compatible with 2.0. Well, not for me. My mother board is https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-990FXA-UD5-rev-30#ov and the video card that I just bought is https://us.msi.com/Graphics-Card/GeForce-GTX-1650-D6-VENTUS-XS-OCV1 I can't get the PCI Device and Universal Serial Bus Host to install drivers for it. See photos......OMG, there's no way to upload photos here????? How do I upload photos other than joining some storage site and then posting a HTTP link to them???

Solution
Very late model cards and older boards can still have non-PCIe related compatibility issues.

Try the latest motherboard BIOS is about my only advice. Really is time to consider a platform upgrade anyway.

This site does not host photos. You should upload to IMGR and post links.
