Please help me.

First, I’m using

CPU : I7-4790K
RAM : G.Skill DDR3-2133 CL10 8GB×4
Board: GA-Z97X-GAMING 5
Nvme : Samsung 970 pro (used onBoard Slot)
VGA : MSI GTX 970 GAMING 4G SLI
(PCIEx16 + PCIEx8)
PSU : CoolerMaster 80PLUS 750W
SOUND : Soundblaster ZXR (PCIEx1)
WIFI : TP Link AC1900 (PCIEx1)
Wifi on off card : Mini PCI-E Desktop PC Remote Control Switch Card. https://a.aliexpress.com/_mM8FC5D

and no ODD no HDD


yea. Full lane. Have a no PCIE socket more.
So, I used very good condition until today.
But problem was beggining....

I want use USB 3.1 gen2 (USB-C port) in my PC.
so, searching. Finded this.

Haaaaaa.

I drew wifi on off switch card.

and inserted to PCIEx4 socket.
And booting.

Yea!!! It worked!!!
I can use USB-C port now!!!!!

Why no sound, no wifi?

yea... maybe I think this PC used full lane.
VGA sli 16x8x lane (24)
USB-C card 4x lane
Total 28.....

Before that.
VGA 24
Wifi 1
Sound 1
Wifi sw 1
= Total 27


I want use

VGA SLI + WIFI + SOUND + USB-C

on this board.

can you help me?
I’m really don’t know about PC.
Just Disassembly and assembly.

Math is not right. Assumption of pcie lanes being all cpu is wrong. Most times only 1 set of Sata and gpu is cpu pcie lanes. Rest of Sata and other pcie x16, x4, x1 slots is from Pci-Express chipset.

So No, you did not fill up pcie lanes. You need to check motherboard manual and bios. Many times if using certain slots, will disable others or share with others. If bios is set to disable, cards won't work.

Yea I checked PCIE in BIOS.
But not exists disabled slot.
all setting “Auto”
Is auto wrong? It will be hint.
