Peachtree won't print checks

I'm running Peachtree Accounting 2004 and have had no problems until I had to reinstall my HP Officejet printer last week. Now my selected checks will not print. It says on screen that they are printing but nothing happens. Reports ,etc. are printing fine.

Make sure the peachtree software is pointing to the new printer(after being re-installed). You may need to remove the printer from peachtree, and re-add the printer to actually get it to work.

Please explain how to check this. The printer is checked as default on Devices and Printers.....
