OK, it's time to rephrase for the third time.
and a 4th time...
and a 5th time...
and a 6th time...
and a 7th time...
and a 8th time...

Oh... you get the picture.

    😛

OK, final rephrase...

I trust NO ONE except Jkflipflop98, JumpingJack, my dead cat Kitty, Pope John Paul II (also dead), my hw-donating buddy from Dame Pearlette Louisy's reign, anybody who gives me sumpthin' for nuthin', and last but not least, I trust my car to the man who wears the star.

There! 😀

Wow, I rank right up there with JJ and a dead pussy. I think I'm getting a little misty-eyed.

An old maid wanted to travel by bus to the pet cemetery with the remains of her cat. As she boarded the bus, she whispered to the driver, I have a dead pussy.

The driver pointed to the woman in the seat behind him and said, "Sit with my wife. You two have a lot in common."

😀

Hey jack, back to that benchmark challenge thing.... you said you needed someone with an AMD processor.... I have an AMD processor

Would that be something i could do or do i actually need to go buy software and stuff, cuz the only software i have ever purchased is windows.

I'm cheap 8)

Yet another article stating that Penryn will be delayed till Q1 2008 ...

I am almost willing to bet money that we will see 45 nm CPUs before the end of the year. 😉 ....

We should keep track and see :)

The new Intel (Otelini Intel) seems willing to raise it's CapEx just to launch flagship CPUs before being able to mass produce them so that they will blind all of media and create over hype for mases.

I mean c'mon Conroe was launched more than a half of year before Intel was able to offer it in volume. First they stated that they were going for 30% Conroe by Q1 2007 afterwards they corrected that to 25%. Now they are ramping more aggressively that's true.

For a company like Intel I would expect to see at least a 50% ramp in a six month period.

Also for 45 nm Intel raised CapEx to 5.5 bil $, which will lower their ASP in the first quarters of 2007 by 4%, add a price war, increasing competition from AMD which in Q4 2006 was volume constrained and still on 90 nm and now is on 65 and Intel's share holders won't be very happy.

So yes, I do believe Intel willing to spend what it takes to launch Penryn this year, but I don't think it will be a wise decision from a financial point of view as it will probably lower it's ASP and not raise it in the first phase.

Yes, but the massive ramping will be in 2008.
That is when the third fab will be on line.. yes.

But with a small quantity......
Making room for AMD.

:) Well who knows.... AMD certainly pushes quite abit of material through one fab to supply the share that they do.... however, at 45 nm one intel 300 mm fab would be roughly the equivalent of AMD's 300mm + 200 mm fab (at 65 and 90 nm repectively), so who know. It is a wait and see game.... however, if you drive a stake in the ground as 'it booted' and AMD can get product out by June, then it is not unreasonable that a couple of months later Intel could have Penryn out.

2007 is going to be as exciting as 2006 toward the end.

The early release of Celeron 4xx series and Pentium E21x0 series means that Intel can do far faster. They are just in the state of "wait and see".
For AMD, the performance is entirely unknown...... And the Dell lawsuit will make the OEMs to be in AMD's side...

Found this on the Shakiranoob website:

Hey, Sharikou, you're going to love this. THG and AMDZone are having a battle of words and a THG insider has called-out JumpingJack, a THG poster,as an Intel shill. Apparently JJ is paid by Intel to spread FUD against AMD!

I cannot stop laughing

:) .... It appears I have achieved some Internet fame :) Laughable... I am not paid by Intel to spread FUD or anything else for that matter. I can look at data though and draw the correct conclusions.... and I do not believe every site on the internet was 'bought' off nor do I dismiss a result simply because I don't like what it says by claiming it was 'not optimized correctly' -- :) this is funny.
Congrats Jack! Your famous. 😀

Is it still considered FUD when Intel employees agree with Jack? 8O

i have seen my share of Paid INTEL shill

and u sir are not in that class

u call it like u see it... and u take others opinions into consideration

there are several here who do act like paid intel shills.... they picked the wrong name

Hey, Jack. Just checked my mail and those dorks at Intel sent me your shill check by mistake. Damn! You make a whole lot more than me! Is it ok if I fake your signature on the back and cash it?

Jack just stated that he is not paid by Intel, but you say otherwise. Someone needs to fess up.
