Want to build a budget PC for small office works.
Is it really worth going with the i3 for purposes like Web Browsing (5-6 Chrome Tabs), Office 16, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Reader DC used together and also light gaming in leisure? What would be the real life difference? RAM is 8GB DDR4, Win 10, no SSD and GPU is a Gigabyte GT 730 OC 1GB GDDR5 (GV-N730D5OC-1GI).

Go for the i3, most of those software applications prefer more threads (photoshop, ect...),in addition the i3 is faster, it virtually is double the performance of the g4400. In photoshop with the i3 and gt 730 don't expect to render 4K images buttery smooth, although the PC is totally capable, dreamweaver should be alright. In gaming CS GO at 1080p will get you 100fps with some tweaking (which is excellent) and even GTA 5 will run at around 40-50fps (of course with the graphics at low to medium)! If you want your PC to be more future proof go for the i3 as more and more software and games need more threads, an example is Far Cry 4 it only supports a cpu with a minimum of 4 threads. The G4400 is a dual core while the i3 is a dual core with hyperthreading. In essence, hyperthreading gives performance similar to a true quad core. This makes it better for multitasking and will perform better in Photoshop, Dreamweaver and for gaming.
