comparing the cpu power of the G4560 versus the I5-7400 it is clear the upgrade to such a processor in this case is well worth it as it is more than a 50% upgrade in power and speed (51.2% to be exact) therefore I would say yes it is worth the upgrade.
if you have a monetary budget and a world location you can provide, as you see from previous posters we may be able to discover a better "deal" for the money than a i5-7400 upgrade for you. let us know if it an interest.

The 7th series is End Of Line = means once you buy it, there is very little upgrade. The only upgrade after the i5 is the i7 - which will be harder and harder to get.
If you’re looking to upgrade cpus with a tight budget right now go ryzen! They destroy equally priced intel cpus in multi threaded tasks because of more cores and the platform (b350/x370) and their 400 series counterparts will be suppprted all the way until 2020 meaning that if some new amazing processors come out from and you won’t even have to buy a new motherboard. For you I’d recommend that you pick up a decent b350 board and then something like an R5 1600 or if you wanted to go cheaper the R3 chips are great too. I hope this helps!

Thanks for the advice, my budget would be somewhere around 200 euros, and the I5-7400 in Lithuania, where i live costs around 180 euros.

It's an easy upgrade & a decent one.
The issue I have , that's alrady been mentioned, is that it's a dead socket now & €180 for a an i5 7400 is terrible value.
For a tiny bit over €200 you can get a Ryzen 1400 & a budget b350 board, similar single core performance but with 8 threads.
That puts you on a current gen & way more upgradeable platform.

I don't generally like the term bottleneck.
Its useable when it comes to cpu's simply because if you're 'cpu limited' (a term id rather use ) there is nothing you can do about it.

No , personally I don't believe there is such a thing,graphics options (& even resolution) can be altered in-game to up the fps & cpu usage.
Can the Ryzen run far stronger gpu's than a 1050ti??
Yes of course they can, that's no reason to buy a weaker cpu in the first place though imo.
Future proofing for me is the key here, if you're spending €200, spend it on something that isn't going to be out of date or struggling 2 or 3 years down the line.
