DeusAres Distinguished Jun 4, 2012 1,603 0 20,160 Sep 3, 2012 #2 I think the G840 doesn't have L2 cache. That's the only difference I see when I compare the details in newegg. Not sure if this is true or not. Anywho, I recommend you just grab the G640. It's cheaper and comes with a heatsink.
