[citation][nom]Maxor127[/nom]I'm assuming you're Republican and a Bush lover, in which case I don't know how you're making the correlation between Democrats and education. Sounds like education didn't help you much, and you're just a typical ignorant, blind follower of a political party. So I knew your claim that the U.S. spends more per child than any country was BS, and I looked it up myself. The U.S. is ranked #4, close to #3. Denmark is #1. You also must not know that George W. Bush was the Education President and passed No Child Left Behind among other programs. Go watch some more FOX News and believe whatever they tell you.[/citation]
if my teachers didnt lie to me, no child left behind program implemented a intensive based bonus plan where schools get less if kids do poorly. my teachers actively had students get other students to stop taking sats.
i grew up in a good area, but kids are retards. i had 4 who got pregnant while in school, 1 expelled for drugs, and 10 others who didn't even graduate for whatever reasons. something needs to be done, but throwing money and policies at education does nothing.
i think that we should force people to either get a highschool diploma, or a ged otherwise half of their pay that isn't already taken in taxes, gets taken and goes straight to education funding.
it only effects people who didnt care in school and give them massive incentive to get a ged or graduate highschool
