It's no Canada because of Canadian laws and regulations against lotteries held in other nations/states. If you Canadians don't like it, then start voting for people more in line with your beliefs in your province. Or at least start really paying attention to who you are voting for and vote against the bozo who voted for this next time he or she is up for re-election. AFAIK there are no regulations in most of the provinces for simple prize draws except Quebec so that is not an excuse

The correct way to view the link is to log into Tom's with your user ID (to remove most of the advertising) Turn off adblock/noscript/safescript then click through to the new site

AFAIK Toms Hardware comps are only US because of international rules and regulations (trade restrictions and tariffs) that they just do not want to have to deal with. Sucks but I can understand, just glad Rhode Is is lumped in with the rest of the world.

The only global comps Toms has are ones run by hardware manufacturers, as they already distribute to the world and it is easier for them.

They should slowly include more countries, look into shipping tariffs, with how close New Zealand is to the US and our relaxed trade laws (I mean we have free trade with China...) you should look at us first =P.

I know it's the popup blocker, but the hint is too vague for people that don't remember needing a new popup blocker. It's automatic on chrome, and my dad never understands when firefox tells him to turn off the popup blocker

Well, since I cant get it cus im in Poland, ill have to skip this one (again). In fact everytime there is an article about free stuff, i first search for the words "US Residents", and if i see it, i dont bother reading the article (why see what i cant have? 😀).

For those of you who have never entered a Tom's giveaway. Be prepared for an onslaught of spam. I don't think Tom's is selling email lists, but somehow they are getting out. I have been almost spam free for many years. The occasional Nigerian prince email to a my address along with many variations of my address every once in a while. Then I started entering these contests. Now getting the spam directly to my address, and a lot more of it.
