Performance and psu

hey
i have a 450w and running a 4870 ati(which requires minimum 550w) but it works my system with no problems....
all games run smooth even crysis 1, 2 but gta 4 wont run smoothly even in medium settings.
so if i upgrade my psu to a powerful one will i get a better FPS in games generally

No, PSUs have no effect on performance unless they are failing.
