Greetings all you good people.

I'm having some issues when i play various games. The main problem is that i have huge amounts of FPS drops.

Fx.
When i play Diablo 3 i run it smoothly on a stable 60 fps. But when i meet a couple of elite monsterpacks and they cast their spells all over the place, i suddenly drop to stable 30 fps. its playable but the picture is not smooth at all.

In the new Heroes of the storm, i have drops all the way down to a 20 fps rate from 60.

In Dying light i've had alot of trouble running it smoothly without putting all the settings down. atm is barely playable, running at 15-25 fps when meeting zombies or running to fast.

In Battlefield 4 it seems to run perfectly fine at a stable 80 fps. though now and then it will drop to a 50 fps for a few seconds. then it runs normal again.

Even in Half-life 2 it seems to have some serious fps drops. it runs at a stable 120 fps. but with to much around you, it will drop to a 50-60-70 fps.

My specs are:

Z97-p motherboard
8GB hyperbeast 2400mhz RAM
Intel quadcore i5-4790 3.5ghz
Geforce gtx 970 2gb memory
1x WD HDD 1TB capacity.
1x 120gb ssd kingston
Windows 7 x64 bit.

My computer is a couple of months old so it is nearly brand new.
Maybe i am wrong, but i do not think that my system should be having these issues?

I am not a hardcore computer specialist at all, so i dearly hope that someone in here would kindly help me out since i love gaming and i cant stand stuttering and fps drops in my games.

On beforehand, Thank you kindly! :)

Right click desktop, hit Nvidia Control Panel > on the left side menu, hit Manage 3D settings.

Click on global, and find Power Management Mode - Set it to Prefer Maximum Performance

Im sorry, but i have already tried all kinds of different settings in my 3d settings. Nothing has worked so far. i just tried reinstalling the video driver and only switched the power management mode to maximum performance. still FPS drops in fx. dying light, down to 15 fps.

But thank you for the advice! :)
