If all you are going to be using them is for movies, you don't need anything as powerfull as those two cards.

A 4000 series video card will do just fine, or a nVidia 210.

For that CPU model, the onboard video the motherboard comes with should be able to run handle HD movies even without a discrete card. Did you try it and have issues?

the 6450 is the same price as the 5450 and has some of the best video quality available. plus its all you need for video. your motherboard has poo for graphics as im sure you have realized.

There is a $10 difference in prices, which is not much, but the % of the prices is pretty big, a 6450 is about 25% more expensive. 36 vs 46. Like the difference between a $300 and a $400 card if you scale the costs.

Look you're not going to be doing any gaming on the 5450. Of the two I say go with the 5570 if you're going to be watching video in 1080p. The difference is only slight and you probably wouldn't notice but hey if you can afford the 5570 just go for it ^_^.

newegg has a 6450 for $32 after rebate and another for $40 after rebate. so they are quite cheap and the 6450 is decently faster at post processing than the 5450 since it has twice the shaders. cheaper faster better quality. the 6450 is the way to go.
