I've been planning a GPU upgrade for my build, currently using an RX 470 4GB and it isn't powerful enough. I want to play at 1440p hence the upgrade, but dont want to spend too much.

I'm set on getting an RTX 2060 (heard the RX 5700 giving people problems so I'm staying away). I want to get the single fan EVGA XC one, because I like the look of EVGA cards and the single fan variation is quite a bit cheaper than other AIB cards.

I want to know if having only a single fan would affect the performance of the card and overclocking potential. It looks like it has a thick heatsink on it.

Will it thermal throttle at stock? Will it be loud? I will be setting a custom fan curve. Can anyone with experience with a single fan card care to comment?

My case has good airflow, it's a mid-tower ATX: NZXT S340 with 2 intakes and 2 exhaust.

Only problem i have with single fan cards is 1.They are loud when under load and 2 they tend to run a little hot.I know single fan cards are quite cheaper. Here a single fan 1660(non ti)cost the same price as a gtx 1650 almost.
