Hi all
I just recently installed a new motherboard into my machine and gaming/general performance is noticeably worse.
Far Cry 4 was running at 57+ fps at all max settings, now it is noticeably choppy and will frequently dip below 50 fps when there is a lot of action on screen.
My old motherboard was a Gigabyte G/A-B75M-D3V
The new motherboard is a AsRock Z75 Pro3
all my other components stayed the same
CPU: 3570 K
GPU: GTX 970
RAM: 8 GB DDR 3 1600
2 Hard Drives: 120 GB SSD, 1TB HD
PSU: 750 W Rosewill Hive
I cannot for the life of me figure out why this would be happening.
I've tried to:
Ideally I would just put my old motherboard back in and see if that fixes everything, but unfortunately I used it to build another computer for my mother during the holiday break.
Any advice or suggestions that you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

I've tried to:
Update the bios in the motherboard
Disable the onboard graphics card
Turn off my antivirus
Install all the drivers from the motherboard manufacturer
Re-installed windows 7 twice
