Permissions Issue with Shared File

I work in a dental office and I am having a problem I cannot fix, although I am quite experienced with computers. We use a software called Dentrix, but the problem is Dentrix requires a common folder to be shared and when i try to open the root folder/start Dentrix/change properties, it tells me this: "Windows cannot access \\DESKTOP-QG3HE5N\Dentrix. You do not have permission to access. Contact network admin for access." We use a separate computer for our server and I have tried giving Everyone full access but the same messsege shows up. Any suggestions?

Is "DESKTOP-QG3HE5N" the computer you're trying to run the said program, or another computer?
Are you trying to use new computer?
In later case:
- You will need to login on that computer with user name and password, as defined in "DESKTOP-QG3HE5N".
- That user must have access to "Dentrix" shared folder on "DESKTOP-QG3HE5N
