Question Persistent and random restarts ?

Old Build
CPU: Ryzen 3900x
GPU: Nvidia 3080
PSU: Corsair 750w
RAM: 32gb 4.0mhz
Mobo: Asus Tuf (can't remember but it was compatible)

The old build had the same issues.

Timeline of events. Random reboot at the start of last month, black screens and pc cuts out for a split second, reboots to lock screen, continuous intermittent reboots.

I reseat the RAM same issue proceeds. I buy a new PSU (rm1000) and new RAM sticks, same issue persists. I had a technician come out to check over the PC and he couldn't figure it out (installed bios update years old oops), put the gpu into a different slot, and still the problem occured.

I buy an entire new pc tower. But have recently had my main monitor Asus Predator 2k start to flicker white on startup.. But for the first two weeks of having the new PC not a single reboot.. Fresh windows, new M.2 everything. The only component that are the same are the two monitors, main monitor being the 2k Asus and the second monitor 1080p Asus Pred.

Unplugging the DP cable to the monitor and the white flickering on start up continues.. And just last night I had two reboots. I have just bought a new DP cable and 19v power adapter for the monitor in hope it fixes the monitor issue.. But could that have been the issue the entire time? Can the power to the monitor cause my entire PC to reboot? It's not on the same plug extension.. Any ideas would help and I will post updates.

Has anyone taken a look at the electrical outlet and power circuit being used to power the computers?

Any extension cords, power bars, surge protectors?

How many other devices are plugged in?

Haven't had anyone look at the electrics in the room.

One mains socket has an extension cord (4 plug) which has the computer on and a TV.

The other socket has a tower extension outlet, with all sorts on, monitor, led strips, steering wheel etc.. Also has a surge protector on. That tower doesn't go off nor led strips when the monitor freaks out on start up. Nor when the PC has been restarting..

I have entirely unplugged the main monitor and took away the extension lead for it, plugging the computer straight into the mains. Running the PC off one monitor (1080p) for now.

It does not have to necessarily "go off".

Just a dip (brown out) in voltage is all that it takes....

On the computers in question take a look at the logs: Reliability History/Monitor and Event Viewer.

What error codes, warnings, or even informational events are being captured just before or at the time(s) of the restarts?

Sorry for the slow reply, I've just this moment managed to get back to the PC.

I've opened Reliability Monitor and have found 3 critical events simultaneously that lead up to the "Unexpected restarts".

I have put the computer onto the right side mains socket and the restart happened again. I moved the PC to the left side socket and the PC restarted again.. I'm going to move the PC to the conservatory on a different ring main, might have to call out an electrician to see if there's a dip in power or fluctuation in power on my Bedroom ring main..
