Hello! I have recently been experiencing persistent crashes, complete reboots - but only while playing games. No issues during other tasks. Temps for CPU and GPU always remain between 30-60 C.

Sometimes, this happens immediately when the game is opened - especially the more graphically intense ones. Other times, it may take 5-15 minutes for it to crash.

Does anyone have any suggestions based on the following? I'm thoroughly stumped 🙄

Current setup (Recently upgraded)
CPU
: Ryzen 7 5700X
MB: Gigabyte B550M
RAM: 32 GB XPG Spectra D35
GPU: Radeon RX 6600
SSD: 2 Samsung 860 EVOs (512 and 1 TB, respectively)
PSU: CoolerMaster Masterwatt 750 (3.5 years old)
OS: Windows 11 Pro

What I have tried
  • GPU: Uninstalled and reinstalled Radeon drivers (using their Cleanup utility each time)
  • GPU: Used Eco mode in Adrenaline
  • GPU: Undervolted the GPU
  • GPU: Rolled back drivers (tried a set from 2 months ago, and a set from 1 year ago)
  • GPU: Switched to my previous GPU (Rx 570) and tried to install drivers. Computer crashed during installation of Adrenalin. Was able to install Pro drivers. Game then crashed as usual.
  • GPU: Limited the GPUs FPS to 60
  • GPU: Reseated GPU
  • GPU & CPU: Stress tested both of them with OCCT for 10 minutes at near 100% capacity - no crashes, interestingly
  • CPU: Installed updated drivers
  • RAM: Ran Windows Memory Diagnostic - no issues found.
  • SSD: Ran Samsung Magician and CrystalDiskInfo and each drive is between 95-100% health.
  • BIOS: Updated to newest version
  • BIOS: Enabled XMP profile so that RAM operates at 3200 mHZ
  • OS: Reinstalled Windows 11 (deleted all partitions and started fresh)
  • PSU: Replaced the old 8 pin connector with a new one (modular PSU)
In spite of all of these efforts at troubleshooting, the problem still persists...

Thank you for your time and help!!!
