[SOLVED] pg is 0ms on power supply tester

Just bought a New (open box) Corsair RM Series RM850 80 Plus Gold and when I used a power supply tester on it the pg was 0ms. Is the power supply dead? Is it because I only have the 24 pin and cpu 8-pin plugged in? Or is it a common error with power supply testers?

Not sure how good those testers are hook it up to your PC if that 0 is correct it will not even start the PC.

EDIT buying a open box is like buying a used car to me I just don't do it.

Haven't plugged it in yet, I just want to make sure that it won't go off like a nuke in my pc and fry my HDD.

Will do a little more research just to make sure that I won't damage anything. The guy said that it was sealed, but when I got there it wasn't. I should have said no, but instead I said what the heck and bought it due to the price (only saved ~$35 ) and the fact that I just drove all the way there rip
