Phenom II Build

You are missing the point. The limiting factor before was the CPU, not the board. The Phenom II is the first properly overclockable CPU AMD has made.

You aren't going to get any good benchmarks on older boards with Phenom II, because all the testers will be using 790GX or 790FX.

Maybe we'll see some sort of roundup of the major 790x boards now though, since there is renewed interest.
 
Frankly i don't see the sense in using that motherboard that limits you in overclocking or to DDR2 800 instead of DDR2 1066 or that costs over $200, even other DFI boards would be a better choice. Search SB750 and ACC depending on what site your read most seem to agree that the SB750 and ACC should help OC by .2 - .4 MHz. YMMV
