Philips 109B Monitor

I'm in the market for a new monitor. I really don't want to pay 30-50 bucks for shipping so I want to do it locally. Now the best monitor I've found in my area is a 19" Philips 109B.

I haven't really read anything positive or negative about the brand or model. Could someone give me their opinion of it? I plan to use it for work and playing all the latest games on it with my GeForce 3 card. :)

It's a big investment and I don't want to blow the money on something I'll regret.

Thanks,
Otana

I have the 109s 19" monitor and it has been fantastic to date, I have been using it 12 hours a day 7 days a week since i had purchased it 1998. Dont really know what differences there are between the 109B and 109s but if its anything like mine you can be assured of excellent performance.

My monitor can handle upto 140Hz refresh rate and screen area 1600 x 1200 pixels. Although its currently set on 1024 x 768 @ 100Hz as I have found this to be a good setting allround. The "OSD" On Screen Display settings are very good as well. They are big heavy beasts but that should stop the local catburgler from running off with it.
Hope that helps

I have user the 107B and 201B and both have been excellent monitors. Also from a techie point of view the internals of the monitor are well layed out and have a sturdy chassis which helps if you intent to take your monitor to LAN parties.
