Had to reinstall the O/S. Need to update my bus. E-mailed Phoenix no responce & web site does not support free updates. Any suggestions??

Why do you need to update your BIOS? Is some hardware not working?
Re-installing an OS does not require a BIOS update.

BIOS updates are usually provided by the motherboard manufacturers. Not all models of motherboards get BIOS updates. Generally high performance boards for enthusiasts will get updates to the BIOS to work with new RAM or GPUs or CPU micro-coding.
