Hello!
I bought my parents a pair of Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini...
The issue is on my mother's side, the battery drains like hell, even without doing nothing on the phone all day. I checked the battery and it looks ok, it's not swollen or anything.
I also disabled some apps on the phone. Did not install any other apps either.
So the battery goes bye-bye in less then 10 hours. Just by being on. It might drain even when turned off, not sure... :-s
I did the following: I switched the batteries between the phones.
My mother's battery was showing 65%, but now on my father's phone it shows 88%......
My father's battery which was arround 90%, now was showing 55% on my mother's phone............
I have no clue what is going on! But one thing is clear, the battery isn't the problem.
So what could it be?
The Firmware? If so, I can reflash the phone very quick.
The micro-usb board? I can change that one too.
I just hope it's not the mainboard. That's like almost an entire phone... I had to change the mainboard on a Samsung Galaxy S2, but then I always had all kinds of issues with it. So I hope it's not that one. 🙁
The problem is that, I don't know how exactly to pinpoint what is causing this.
Can someone teach me how to do it? That is all I ask.
Thank you in advance!
