Phone crashing when adding a new acocunt

Since a few weeks when I try to add another account to my phone with android 7 so I can check my emails without having to turn on the PC or in case I'm not home, the phone randomly starts crashing to then "break" the google search bar app until I clear it's cache. I tried clearing the cache of all google apps, removed the phone's battery and put it back in and then try adding a new account, it didn't work. I don't know what could cause the problem, I searched everywhere online and I can't find anything. I prefer to not do a factory restore, but if nothing you suggest works, I guess I have to do one.

Suggest you try the recovery mode first.

sadly that didn't work, I tried both with recovery mode and settings. With recovery mode it cleared the cache but through the settings it did nothing
