Question Phone to pc with usb hotspot

Don’t currently have wifi right now so using my phone. Looked at the speed on my data plan with my phone and it was download 52 mpbs and upload 3 mbps. But then I connect it to my pc and it shows .50 for both. I don’t know what is wrong and really could use some help!

Usually you're required to download an app/installer/driver for your phone when you want to tether the phone to the PC and use it as a modem. What OS are you working with? You might also want to check and see if your phone heats up when tethered to the PC, heat can cause the networking adapter within the phone to deteriorate performance wise.

Right now I’m on OS 14.6 and yes my phone does heat up. And what drivers would I have to install? Thanks for the help.
