Defenitely

I feared so much. I'll see - being lazy, I showed one planet to a
neighbour, and hopefully will soon know the result looks like.

That's interesting. I take it that it means that you'll get the
co-ordinates of all planets within sensor sweep range, if you get a
reading, right?
By the way:
did anyone experience problems with the give planet and the show
(planet) command?
In two games of mine, I consistantly get phost error messages that
_ship_ xy couln't be given / shown to whom-ever because I am not its
owner, if I give / show _planet_ xy to that person.
On the other hand: the give planet commands are carried out correctly
despite the error messages - I don't know about show (see above).
I am puzzled, I haven't been able to reproduce it in a test game though,
with phost 4.0h running on windows. But with the same set-up I get these
bogus error messages using the linux version (both of these games are
hosted on linux).
I have not seen any problems with give ship so far and haven't tested
show ship.
I am not 100% sure that I didn't use _additionally_ to the command
message the built-in feature of vpa using 'v' to give a planet to
someone, if a ship orbits that planet. But it should in principle make
no difference.
phost 4.0h running on linux.
client vpa 3.62c
I can make host data available for the game I host, the other is
"aslenium" at planetsserver.
Best regards,
Ingo
