I'm looking for software to edit GoPro 4k videos and also RAW format photos. What is the best app for my dollar? Thanks!

For photo it would be GIMP since it is free. There is a large amount of learning to be done, but it is a very powerful tool.

i'll second GIMP. bit of a learning curve but there are tons of sites out there with plugins and how to's to help you learn. took me about 2 hours to pick it up and learn some basic editing skills i needed. if you're not doing custom graphics, then should not take much more for you to get the basic editing features down.

Well, there is much top-rated software recommended for photography as well as videos from GoPro 4K videos.
For Photography
HDR - Skylum Aurora HDR
Photo editing - Skylum Luminar

For Video Editing
For Mac & Windows - Movavi Video Editor

I personally recommend you to go for this software as they are easy to use and available at a reasonable price.
If you are Mac user then you can try free video editor iMovie.

You should try GIMP software it is a photo editor tool. GIMP means the general image manipulation program is a free editor and it is also available for window XP and MAC.
