I need this build for Adobe Photoshop CS6 and some gaming.
I'm not gonna be playing like Crysis 3 on ultra high or anything but I will be playing games like (just to list a few)

1.Minecraft
2.Loadout
3.Some random indie games
4.Maybe TF2.

For the Photoshop part, I just do gfx.I work with around 10mb to 100mb images. I've come up with a build but I'm not sure if it can do what I want it too. If you see anything that could be swapped out for something better or cheaper, I'd appreciate if you could let me know. 550$ Budget

Do I need a CPU cooler?
If you don't mind, I'm taking out the optical drive because I don't use the one I currently have and will boot windows on usb.
I might change the case too. It's just personal preference 😛

The 6300 comes with a stock cooler. If you plan on overclocking, I would get something like a CM 212 EVO. If not, you will be fine.
Case is always a personal preference thing. I just try to recommend one that does it's job well.

Tried to cut some costs for you and get you a better cpu(not that yours was bad) i just thought you would like this one better. it's got 8 cores and 3.5ghz which i personally have and it's great, but just saying you could go with a 6300 and possibly go a bit over budget and get yourself a geforce 660 but that'd run you about 600 dollars :/ but the build looks great man good luck! 😀

This would work well if the OP is near a microcenter. My rule of thumb is to use reputable online retailers (Amazon, Newegg, NCIX, and Tiger Direct mainly.

Thanks also!
