Hi. I own quite a few games that have Physx. All the batman games, velvet assassin, several others. However, I'm using an ATI gpu. Are there any SINGLE slot nvidia cards I can use for a dedicated physx card? Better yet, the lowest power consumption and single slot would be perfect. What's the minimum card that would work? And spare me the "you should have bought nvidia" please. Thank you!

First you need to make sure that Hybrid PhysX is even an option these days with the fact that Nvidia drivers now disable PhysX when an AMD card is present.

I would also verify that you actually do play enough GPU accelerated PhysX games to make the effort worthwhile. Of course, the Batman: Arkham series features GPU PhysX, but Velvet Assassin (never heard of it) does not. Here's the list of GPU accelerated PhysX games:

Then that physx list needs updated...... Just had to jump through hoops because velvet assassin does use physx and the game doesn't come with the physx software SDK, so when you start the game with an amd gpu, it crashes and gives a "failed to load physx" message. There is a fix though....... And as I said in my original posts, I play plenty of games that use physx.
