Hey, guys...

for the HSH, what do you think about using a peltier cooler right next to the cpu?

Because im afraid that the heat wont tranfer into the rest of the system fast enough.

Just to inform you guys on a little something...back to the scores...

My friend got his 955 rig up and running...he benchmarked it (in 3DMark06) and the CPU score turned out to be 4421...@ stock speed, 3.2
My phenom II X4 B50 scores 4860 @ 3.2...wow...but then again, he was on vista and that could have affected his score

Working on more brackets for my desk. I installed two DVD drives into the desk and suffered a catastrophic FAILURE of my cheap@$$ PSU today. I have a WD Cavair 320 That keeps saying it has failed. I installed Win server08 HPC Edition on to the head node of my cluster it really doesnt perform as well as I thought it would on a single machine. Ive probably gotten something F'd up somewhere. Under a benchmark it scores half of what it did while in Vista 64.... WTF! Overall not a too bad day.

HA ha I fixed it. It was the power cord. Wow! This thing had 22 ga. wire in it. What were they thinking?

Server 08 HPC is still showing benchmarks half of what Vista 64 was producing.......... HMMMM...... I must be doing something wrong. For the life of I dont know what!

Good deal I guess. Im a fanboy of AMD if you havent been able to tell. For me buying an i7 would be blaphsemy................ Id only have it if given as a gift. Then as You did ID sell it to buy more AMD. WHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA.......... Truth iws they are really good but ummmmmmmmmmmm I dont buy over priced/over hyped crap!

Sorry I just have this problem with intel. I cant break it. I can just spend $300 and add another node to my cluster if I need more power. The i7 just costs way too much for my blood.

i went to the petstore to get a rat for my snake and set my hand on the side of the cage with the prairie dogs in it.

one of them decided to jump up and latch onto my hand!!!
