Question pin adapters on psu, and converting?

I have an old z77 oc formula that has a 12volt 8pin and a 12 volt 4 pin next to it. I do not require the 4pin according to what I have learned, but It would help me tremendously to oc this board, My psu power wise is more than capable of handling the demand, however the connections are not there, it has. 1, 8 pin 12 volt atx line. 3 pcie labeled connections which i dont need and a bunch of others that just lie around taking up space. I know my psu can run my board power wise, is there a way i can safely convert one of my other lines to plug into the 12volt 4 pin I need?

No, you shouldnt go about converting anything to an EPS connection.
What is your specific PSU?

Just use the one 8 pin you have and call it a day.

Can't be modified. Use the single 8 pin.

It's a poor quality PSU , not worth it.

Good way to proceed , not a good idea to use adapters.
