The Modulo5 Basic is aimed at users who want to use the CM5 with Raspberry Pi 5 accessories such as HATs and cases. This does sound niche, but hear me out. The CM5 on a Modulo5 Basic can be upgraded. Need more RAM, eMMC, Wi-Fi? Just buy the CM5 that suits your needs. You’ve got an upgradable “Raspberry Pi 5” that should do the job for a few years to come.
