ping around 50ms but feels like 150ms

in most online games, my ping is around 50ms or lower but it feels like at least 150ms because the delay is very noticable
i did speed tests and stuff and my ping was 18ms and jitter 23 with no packet loss
One thing that i know for sure that my gpu (r9 280x xfx) ,even its functioning normally, its kinda faulty as reported by gpu-z voltages values all over the place and i can feel the "non-smoothness" even in single player games, but it differs from game to game with some that i literally can't play because the game is not smooth enough
But regardless, can this affect online gaming to the level it can "delay" me?or something else is wrong?

Can you specify in what game you are experiencing fluctuating ping? any specific game or most of the games that you play, One more thing ping also matter's what type of connection you are using, if it is wireless then for sure you will experience some ping spikes.

wireless keyboard/mouse add "lag" to your reaction same way as wifi between pc-server. and 3'rd thing is prerendered frames.

there are few more things, like cpu bound lags, but we will need more details first.

It is not what you suggested guys, it is literally just like I am playing with 150ms of lag (hit registration, get hit late after cover,...etc) while every thing else is fine ( button regs, no weird animations,..)
I mostly play bf1, while my CPU is below recommended I can't say CPU is the issue as I get same experience in other online games
Specs for whose care: i5 6500
R9 280x xfx
Asus h170m-plus
seasonic focus plus 650w platinum
2*4GB ram

And yes I am on wired connection and I can confirm that my ping stays stable during a match and not even a single lag spike
