I've been having problems with my ping in my main game CSGO, even though I have decent internet. I live in Australia near Melbourne and when I test my internet connection on speedtest.net I get
21 ping connecting to Melbourne servers

These speeds stay pretty much the same while testing at different times of the day.
In CSGO I get an average of about 40ms, but around every minute when others are using the internet it tends to go up to 100ms for a few seconds and then back down to 40ms, sometimes staying around 60ms for 10 seconds. This makes the game extremely irritating to play since most of the day 1 to 2 other people are using the internet at the same time I do. I was wondering if there is something I can do to try and get my ping to stay at around 40ms and not fluctuate when I'm playing? Or do I just have to live with it?
I'm not sure if this issue happens with other online games since I don't really play any other online games.
