Ping spikes every couple seconds and lasts for 2-3 seconds (help)

So recently I've been having ping spikes that can get really annoying while gaming and almost impossible to play with.

I have already tried searching for solutions and I went to see if they work or not but they don't and I still have this problem.

If you are sharing your internet on multiple devices, you could enable QOS to prioritize bandwidth for the specific application. Your router probably has some form of Quality of Service capability built in. Also try shutting apps down that will consume precious bandwidth and produce lag like torrent apps, windows updates etc. Also, if you are on wireless broadband, I highly recommend that you change it to cable or fibre as these are more stable.

Apparently qos is already turned on in my modem/router
